Got these bad boys for Christmas and immediately put them through their paces at the Kruger Park Lodge.
Was very happy to discover a 5km trail within the grounds of the resort, much of it alongside the magnificent Sabie River where hippo and crocodile sightings are commonplace. And, yes, it is fenced, so no world record pace was required.
Most of the trail is in a forested area with rough and tumble terrain – perfect to try out the Terrex Agravac Flow 2.0’s.
Immediate impressions were good. With slippery rocks and mud about, solid grip is imperative and the rubber outsole did the job. The 320’s showed up well.
Ample cushioning also provided comfort and support, made even better by the shoes’ lightweight design. I found them highly responsive with more than adequate traction, although this may not be the case for longer runs.
I tend to stick to 10-15km distances off road, so durability may not factor in just yet.
I’ve also taken them out on the road and they do perfectly in an urban environment, although I’m likely to stick to my tried and trusted Asics for the longer road running stuff.
All in all, this is a great offering by Adidas, who have struck a nice balance between a substantial technical shoe and one that is lightweight and practical.
